As most stories go, there’s usually something that happens that the audience doesn’t no about.
This story begins with me.
Business owner and fitness fanatic.
I see both as the same thing, work on one aspect and the business grows, while another aspect lacks you grow that lacks and create balance.
This leg of my journey is me coming back to fitness from about a year’s hiatus.
I had stopped Crossfit and began my own self fitness, to which, had failed. It’s bee 9 months and I probably worked out at most a dozen times. I know. I know… Some people are thinking “that’s more than I’ve done in over a decade!”.
After 3 years of working out 1-2 times a day, One to two hours at a time. I was in the best shape of my life.
Now, I’ve lost it all and feeling weak and sluggish. I’ve probably lost about 10-15 pounds. And of course good-bye to my muscle mass.
Today was Day-1. Day one of the start.
I actually felt good working out and allowing myself to push through what I thought would have been failure and giving up or cutting my workout shorter than expected. Doing it alone is tough, almost as bad as doing an intense workout.
5 rounds, 20 repetitions of all body weight exercises of; Push-Ups, Squats, and Sit-ups.
Normally, this would have taken me maybe 15-20 minutes to complete. It took me 40 minutes to complete. Yikes! Oh well. I can’t put a lot of pressure and expectations on something I did to my self. And I can’t expect to get my body to the shape it was in since last year.
The start of this chapter of the journey will be named, Baby Steps.
Time to fuel the body. (more on food later)
