Hello and welcome to the start of my journey to my business and my fitness (again) life.
The look-back at the end of my first week is summarized as such;
went to work, got my workouts in, ate clean except for one day. I guess two days considering I had leftover pizza the next day.
10 Hang Power Clean, last rep hold till the next whistle of the hockey game
10 reverse bicep curl
20 abmat situps
1 minute roman chair hold (accumulate)
I can probably increase the intensity of this workout. I felt the workout was a little easy so I held the last rep of the barbell till the next whistle blow of the hockey game. This made it a harder, much more than trying to tire my arms out with the reverse bicep curls. Also, I can definitely hold the roman chair a lot longer. One minute was too short or I’ll extend my legs fully instead of half way.
To reflect: pretty solid start to my workouts for the first week. I know keeping a good pace with light weight as I continue to increase the complexity of my workouts and keep up with eating healthy. Although I do workout at home in a 4×8 space, one, I cannot drop the weight, therefore no heavy lifting, two, I don’t have a lot of space to have a lot of exercises going on at one time.
Business matters. As the year starts to wind down means that Christmas is around the corner. Christmas hype means increase in Insurance claims and also decrease of patients because they are spending their resources to shopping for Holiday presents and partying.
Today, the day continued with treating a patient with weight issues and edema in the legs/ankles. It’s been a long time with this particular patient but we finally have their edema under control. Slight tightness and pitting with the body rebounding in the ankle/shin area on both legs.
